With some print work

Based in Chelmsford, Essex, we publish a successful bi-monthly property magazine called International Homes and for the past 15 years have been running the International Property Awards, a long-running programme of awards covering all aspects of the property sector.

We are looking for a motivated and capable web designer/developer to take full control of our extensive network of websites, including www.international-homes.com, www.propertyawards.net and www.toptenproperties.net

On top of that, you'll be getting involved in some print design, from producing awards logos for winning companies to designing marketing collateral.

You'll need to be adept at juggling different tasks, sometimes under pressure. On the print side of things, we can supply some training in-house, but the web will be almost entirely your responsibility.

We're a small, fast-moving company, so you'll also be helping out when necessary with everything from answering the phones to handling outgoing post.

Skills

Web: Dreamweaver, HTML/CSS, Javascript, PHP, XML, Joomla!, ASP.net, mySQL database management, Flash, web standards, search engine optimisation, basic operation of Linux via ssh and Windows via Remote Desktop Connection.

Quark XPress, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, InDesign, Microsoft Office

General

We work primarily on Apple Macs so some experience with them will be helpful, although not essential. You need good design skills and a can-do attitude.

Salary dependent on skills and experience.
